Hundred Islands, Alaminos City, Pangasinan

Hundred Islands is probably one of the places here in the Philippines almost everybody knows. Since we were kids, this place was taught to us. It’s a natural park and the feeling of seeing lots of islands cluttered in one area is just pretty amazing.

From the main highway of Alaminos City, there’s a street that will lead you to the port, which is the starting point of the island hopping. We took a boat ride from the “Welcome” site and decided to take a customized island hopping (there are other ‘fixed’ trips). The boat has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers, but I think that would be dangerous as the boat was really small. The edges of the boat are almost the level of the sea.

We were lucky enough to be greeted by the blue skies. Since we started a bit late (around 2PM), we were only able to visit 4 islands.

As we left the islands, the sunset bid us goodbye.
